 SALES

Job Description:
Purpose of Position: To increase sales by creating new business and assisting with renewal business

Responsibilities:
• Creating new business on a daily basis.
• Have 20 new contact leads per week.
• Have 5 new corporate leads per week.
• Have a minimum of 3 new appointments per day.
• Assist General Manager in implementing new fitness programs.
• Ability to work in a multitasking, deadline driven, team-oriented environment.
• Must have strong communication, organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities and perform precise work in a fast-paced environment.
• Report on a weekly basis all contacts to general manager.
• Responsible to work a 40 hour + work week.
• Any other duties assigned by Club Manager or Owner.

 PERSONAL TRAINER
Job Description:
Part-time Employment Responsibilities: To provide personalized attention and professional fitness instruction that significantly contributes to the health and fitness goals of members. This includes monitoring exercise technique, motivating members through their exercise programming, and developing and maintaining a personal training clientele.

Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
Bachelor of Science degree in a fitness related field or a personal training certification from approved certification, per MHC handbook. Current CPR certification to be obtained prior to being hired. AED certification preferred.
Experience:
One (1) year commercial fitness instruction preferred or school internship experience in similar fitness environment. Personal fitness and exercise experience strongly encouraged.
Personal Skills:
• Punctual, dependable, and service oriented.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational.
• Excellent physical condition, professional manner and appearance.
• Excellent verbal communication and promotional skills.
• Working knowledge of variable resistance exercise machines, free weights and cardiovascular equipment.
• Strongly self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology and kinesiology.

  MEMBERSHIP SERVICES
Job Description:
Purpose of Position: To provide a clean, friendly, and safe environment for members.

Responsibilities:
• Cordially greet every member you encounter with a friendly hello and smile.
• Check in members (i.e. hand out locker key and towels, make sure the membership is current).
• Quickly and efficiently respond to member complaints with empathy and direct them to a manager if unable to assist.
• Wear designated uniform with name-tag at all times when on duty.
• Conduct chemical pool tests.
• Membership sales.
• Fold and keep supply of towels at front desk.
• Complete side work as designated by Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Any other duties assigned by the Manager or Assistant Manager.
